Bison's "Right to Decide" policy gives every Driver their ultimate protection. Drivers make the final decision if it is safe to drive and we actively encourage Driver's use of this policy.

Safe Driving Reward Program
The Safe Driving Reward Program financially rewards Drivers for achieving safe miles. Our top level Drivers earn up to 15% more through this program. Rewards are paid quarterly and can be deposited directly to your Group RRSP if you choose.

Safety Features
All of our trucks come equipped with the latest safety features in the Detroit Assurance and Volvo Active Driver Assist platforms.

These safety systems provide safety features such as collision mitigation, driver side airbag, lane departure and adaptive cruise control to support the driver at all times while over the road.

All of our trucks feature 70+ inch high rise sleepers, with full parking bunk climate control, power invertors, fridge, flatscreen tv and microwave ready.

We outfit our trucks with top of the line seating including heat and ventilation functionality.

Elite Driver Finishing Program

Bison Transport's Driver Finishing Program (DFP) For New Drivers
Bison Transport's Driver Finishing Program (DFP) is an excellent opportunity for people to start in the transportation industry as a Professional Driver.

​​​​​​​The program was established to assist developing Drivers who have successfully obtained their Class 1/AZ Licence. The program also applies to Drivers who have previously obtained their Class 1/AZ Licence but have limited experience.
